We are so excited to announce our partnership with Operation Shower, a non-profit organization whose mission is “to provide joyful baby showers for military families to help ease the stress of deployment.” Since 2007, Operation Shower has been hosting group baby showers to celebrate and honor military families who are expecting a new baby and are experiencing or have recently experienced deployment. Operation Shower relies on its partners to help deliver high-quality products and value-added services to help ease the stress of deployment. Surprise guest speakers at past showers include Michelle Obama, Martha Stewart, and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Creative Converting will be supplying unique party décor for each of the Operation Shower events held throughout the United States. The first event Creative Converting will be donating to will be a golf-themed baby shower, THE PLAYERS Championship, in Jacksonville, Florida, held on May 6, 2012. In addition, we’ll also be providing shower recipients with a surprise gift of party supplies for their “Shower-in-a-Box”, an initiative by Operation Shower to supply every mom-to-be with a box full of baby registry items.

“Operation Shower is excited to work with Creative Converting to treat military moms-to-be to a joyous day just for them,” said Chief Event Planner, Amy Belle Isle. “We work to throw amazing baby showers for these deserving military moms and party supplies play a festive part in the celebration!”

  1. So excited that you are working with Operation Shower. I have gotten to volunteer for them and I think what they are doing is totally awesome. I know they run off donations so it is so great that you are helping out!

It’s been such a great experience for us, Sharon! I was lucky to attend the Chicago shower and got to see the moms-to-be smiles up close – a truly amazing experience!
