Meet Colleen, Product Manager

Whenever I meet new people and tell them what I do, the response is usually “Wow, that must be so fun,” and they’re right, it is fun!  I’ve always been a “product junkie” and fascinated with the retail environment and consumer products strategies, so being able to manage a product line in such a fun category was a perfect fit for me!  What I like most about working here is that everyone works their tails off because I think we all feel so personally invested in any design, product, or idea we create.  Yet, we don’t lose sight of what’s really important and have some fun along the way!

Favorite Party Item: Party Games—great for setting the tone of the party, meeting new people, and getting everyone laughing.

Most Memorable Birthday: My 6th birthday.  My mom was videotaping me opening my gifts on the “Cam Corder” and when I opened a Ken Doll as one of my gifts, I was too embarrassed to show what it was to the camera because I thought having a Ken Doll was admitting that I was interested in boys, which is horrifyingly embarrassing for a 6 year old.  Looking back now, it’s so funny that it makes this birthday my favorite.

Top Three Party Must-Haves: Walking away from the (1) snack table to participate in a (2) Impromptu dance party featuring (3) Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the USA”.

Favorite Place to Get Party Inspiration: My Co-Workers offices.  We have so much fun stuff lying around that seeing a random product, old or new, will spark my creativity and tempt me to have a party this weekend!
